_Muchedumbre (in progress)
Heriberto Sarmiento travels through the mountains of his town, Jordán, seeking to reconstruct the crucifixion of his aunt Paulina perpetuated in 1956. A peasant leader who during the Violence of the 1950s in Colombia was assassinated by a paramilitary group commanded by the legendary gamonal Roque Ferreira. Heriberto visits several of his uncles and relatives, survivors of that violence to ask them about the unpunished murder, but they all seem to have forgotten.
The impossibility of reconstructing the murder is altered when the director of the unpublished film Return to Nothing, a western about bandits and thugs filmed in Jordan in the late nineties, returns to town to screen it for the first time. The projection provokes a collective exorcism, and the survivors, stunned by the images of the western, decide to break the silence and recreate the crucification of Doña Paulina.
